Q

What is your current job?

A

Since joining the company in April of this year, I have been working in early departures, day shifts, and night shifts. Among them, we provide support to support the daily life of users such as meals, bathing and excretion. In addition, I am also in charge of leaders and sub-leaders on the floor, and I am working on my daily work with the aim of protecting the health and safety of users and seeing many smiles.

Q

How are you making use of what you learned while you were at school?

A

At school, I learned to put users first and think about assistance methods. Furthermore, it has become possible to explain the health condition and physical condition of users by utilizing the technical terms and techniques learned at school. I feel the joy and sense of responsibility to be able to act as a member of the team while coordinating multiple occupations in the field of long-term care. To that end, I continue to strive to improve my knowledge every day.

Q

Why did you get a job (choose a job) at your current workplace?

A

The reason I chose my current workplace was because I had a part-time job since I was enrolled in a long-term care Professional Training College and found it to be a comfortable place to work. The users and staff of this facility are friendly and have good relationships with themselves. I am an international student, but I am grateful for the kind acceptance and I am glad that I chose this workplace.

Q

Please tell us about your job satisfaction and future goals.

A

When I work, it makes me happy when I see the smiles of the users. My future goal is to improve my qualifications as a certified care worker, and I want to learn about Japanese history and culture so that I can deeply understand the lives of users. In the future, I would like to continue to make efforts with the aim of being able to support international students who are aiming for long-term care.
