I think that if you study hard and practice hard, you will become confident and will be able to do it. Please do its best.

Q

What is your current job?

A

My main job is to help users in their daily lives so that they can live with peace of mind. The three major types of long-term care are meal assistance, bathing assistance, and excretion assistance. We take care of our daily lives, such as cleaning, washing, and cooking, without touching the user's body. In addition, we provide mental care. I often talk with users with a smile and enjoy recreation for leisure activities.

Q

How are you making use of what you learned while you were at school?

A

I think that important knowledge and skills of actual nursing care in school study and practical training will be useful for my current job. I think that it is easy to understand what was taught by my boss and senior staff at work because I learned the basics well. Sometimes, the way of assistance in the workplace is different from the textbook, but if you make use of your know-how and adjust it to the actual situation, you will be able to respond flexibly in various cases, so I am doing my best.

Q

Why did you get a job (choose a job) at your current workplace?

A

There are several reasons for choosing your current workplace. The main reason is that they support foreigners well. In Japan, I am relieved to have friends who can follow me both in terms of work and personal life. Even within the corporation, there are study sessions and training, so you can improve your skills and have fun interacting with everyone at other facilities. We all cooperate with each other, so we can manage to do our best even in difficult times.

Q

Please tell us about your job satisfaction and future goals.

A

I thought nursing care was a rewarding job, so I chose it as a job. Currently, I am a first-year employee, so there are so many things I have to remember, so I am working hard to learn all the work contents. I want to become a full-fledged person as soon as possible and be able to do all the work. I will do my best so that the staff of the facility can take care of any work and the users can ask me for help.
